This fight could of gone either way. I had the 7th even and the fight scored at 114-114. I don't think anyone can argue with this outcome. What a hell of a fight!

You can't take away the knock down but you can look at the stats. I am not saying the stats/compubox are the last word but they do help in certain circumstances such as these. I thought the fight was much closer and a draw or a win for JMM was one of the two things we would hear. I love PacMan and I am not too huge on JMM. I just think that this should have been at least a draw. Oh well. I wont lose any sleep over this decision as both fighters gave us another great fight

I'd choose quality. In a close fight, both should be considered. Usually, it's the quality that has more weight though.

the knock down made the difference in the fight. it could have been draw but like you said, the knockdown cant be taken away. i dont understand why jerry roth scored the fight 115-112 marquez. he totally disregard the KD on rnd 3. he could have score it 113-112 marquez.
