Will Oscar give Sturm a rematch?

I would like to see it. Oscar has a lot to prove against Sturm, and I think with him being motivated, he will beat him.

But Sturm does deserve a rematch.

I don't think it would be a waste on Sturm. Well it would be a waste on Sturm if he has to decide between Margarito and Sturm.

I think Oscar can choose just about anyone between 147-160... he commands that kind of money and attention. A Sturm rematch would be good for us who really care about and follow boxing... but I think he'd rather appeal to the masses.

Is this a real question or wishful thinking? There's no way in hell Sturm is getting a rematch. If ODLH is trying to give anybody a pity match it will be Margarito. He'll probably sign Margarito anyway. I think ODLH fights PBF then Mosley (whether he wins or loses against PBF) and then fights Trinidad for a retirement match.

It is far to a difficult fight, for too little a reward, too late in de la Hoya's career.

Oscar has no business with sturm it was proven in their first fight. sturm is a solid middleweight oscar would be a blown up welterweight. although I believe an in shape delahoya can give sturm a run for his money. he was so fat and pudgy in the first fight.

could you elaborate on that. all sturm did that night was jab jab jab, he rarely followed up with a right or a left. oscar was just in with a guy bigger than him, who he under estimated and showed up without any training not making excuses for oscar he got what he deserved. as a veteran professional he should have come prepared. he embarrassed himself and a lot of his fans.
