Seriously, though. I have TMJ and about ten years ago I had to get my wisdom teeth removed because I was getting a lot of clicking in my jaw and I couldn't generate enough force to bit into an apple. You may just have to bite the bullet and see an oral surgeon.
But make sure you use hand.![]()

Dave-did you tell your trainer you were hurt?
Go to the doctors or live of soup and learn sign language.
I injured my jaw about 3 months ago after I got caught with a hook. My jaw keeps clicking in and out of the joint near my ear when ever I open my mouth too much. I went to the Doctors and he basically said it is the joint slipping in and out of the socket but there is nothing he can do but I should consult my dentist. When I told my dentist they told me I need to see my Doctor so I just put up with it now but it is very annoying.

That's exactly what I get. I get clicking sometimes on the right side and if I open my mouth wide enough the ball-and-socket joint on the left slips out. It's uncomfortable as hell, but it doesn't hurt (the clicking does sometimes). I may be remembering wrong, but I think the oral surgeon who removed my wisdom teeth said the muscles on the right are a lot more tense than the left. I've made a conscious effort to chew more on the left, but I think it's because of this one tooth that's bothered me since just before my teens that I still have almost 20 years later. It discourages me from chewing over there.
