Anybody know how to upload videos on youtube?

Does anyone know how to go about uploading videos onto youtube? (Also, what kind of digital camcorder I would half to buy, etc.)

Don't wanna make you feel like a dumb ass! (Which I know you are) but I will explain this a simple as possible with details.

I will assume you have an account. The video is in some file on your computer.
(But again, this is Clubber whom I'm talking to)

1. log in to YouTube
2. Top right corner you will see something like:
Hi, rawdigga! (0) Account History Help Log Out Site:
(This is what is says for me)

3. Click on 'Account'
4. You will see a lot of options look for 'Videos, Favorites & Playlists' and click on that.
5. To the left theres some options look for the 'Upload A Video' button.
6. In this next page you have to fill it out the sections: title, date, description, category etc. etc.
7. At the botton you of that same screen you click on 'Upload A Video'
8. Here you will click on the 'Browse' button which will open a screen from your computer files. You need to look for the video (More then likely you have it in the 'My videos' folder....
9. Once you've found the video you double click the video.
10. Then you click on 'Upload'

Remember videos can not be longer then 10 min.

Thanks CutMe. I've always had trouble doing stuff on the PC, like posting pictures. But once I finally found out how, it was easy as crap from there.

It's getting the video into my computer that's the trick. Is there a certain type of camcorder I could buy? And would a digital camera work too? (for slideshows). The other part I could probably do, it's just like uploading photos onto photobucket.

whatever camcorder u get, no matter what format it uses for videos you could convert it to an avi or wmv

as long as you get a digital camcorder (one that will allow u to put what u record on a computer and NOT one that uses video tapes) u will be fine

Donny it could be several things.

1. File type (What type of file is the video in wmv, avi, mpeg)
2. Video length (Regular members can only upload videos that are LESS then 10:00 minutes long)

The File type is avi I believe.
The recordings are rounds, so are all less than 3 minutes in length.
