wehey FUCKING YES!!!!
Got to say Im GUTTED for Rees, he really did deserve that.
Fought his heart out, I wanted to him lose for my joker pick but honestly it was impossible not to root for that little guy.
He really should be fighting at superfeather,
He won my respect in defeat.
Fuck Kotelnick, he's shat and doesn't deserve to have won, hopefully Ricky Hatton can batter the fuck out of him later in the year![]()
after the little fat cunt was gobbing off about fighting khan him getting ktfo by kotelnik is laughable
Wow Steve Bunce reckons apart from Round 1 it was a shut out for Kotelnick
Rees won at least 7 rounds on pure aggression alone.
There were rounds where Kotelnick did nothing.
I dont see how people on this thread had it so close . I could see from a mile off Gav was getting kncoked out . In the 8th he was out on his feet and after that it was 1 way traffic . Bunce says it was a landslide for Kotelnik but 1 judge had Rees ahead
Does anybody know what the scorecards were?
Steve Bunce is a clown
you cannot win a fight on aggresion alone !!!
after have lost fights on this 'pressing the fight' bollocks it annoys me greatly fair enough u can come out like a mad man but if u dont land the more clean effective shots u dont deserve to win simple!!!
enzo calzaghe is being SNMACKED with reality
warren trying to spin this
WTF was the announcer saying?
was he saying that someone tried to run in the ring in the 12th round?
2 judges had kotelnik ahead by 3 and 1 had it by 5![]()
Kotelnik was winning.
Can't wait for Ricky Hatton to rip him a new arse hole.
Man, Enzo Calzaghe's response to this fight is much more measured and calculated than it was the other week when Maccarinelli got knocked out.
I can see why people have such varying views on this fight, its all about what floats your boat. If you like aggression then Rees was doing that all night long, and moving forward and attacking, but if you like your boxing measured and clean, then that is where you have to look at Kotelnik.
Two judges had Kotelnik 3 rounds up and the other 5 rounds up going into the last, so I guess the judges like their boxer. It was an expected defeat from many camps, but Rees did himself proud, fighting much heavier than he should, and whatever happens, no-one can ever take away from him that he was the WBA world champion.
