Haha, no I guess I was just taken back, but obviously you did still post it with some itent of slandering Floyd, I just don't see how he "ducked" the Cotto questions. All he had to say was his first response, that DLH was the biggest fight in boxing(regretably, but it's not even close really). I want to see him fight Cotto as much as you Danny, as I think most Mayweather fans do. It's just so freakin easy to see why it's not happening at this point. Anyone would take the Oscar rematch for way more money. Not just for the initial payday either, this way the Cotto fight will get much bigger when it does happen. Cotto will sadly gain a lot of exposure beating the crap outa Gomez, and Mayweather will almost certainly be more impressive against Oscar in the rematch. Cotto is likely more glad than anyone that it won't happen real soon, as his purse will only get bigger as his name does. Think about it, Cotto and Mayweather fight this year..... What's left for the winner? They will have just won their defining fight for a fraction of the money they could have gotten by waiting, and there will be nothing left to do that's even close to as lucrative. I just wonder if you actually believe that the situation is much different than I've described? I mean why would you like to see the fight happen right away as opposed to next year. Don't you think Cotto deserves a huge payday by now? He won't get one if he signs to fight Mayweather now, he's just not popular enough and he knows this. That's why he's fighting Gomez instead of another Mosley or Judah(great opponents which made for grueling fights but less exposure than a contender star).
