At this point and time I don't see Mayorga beating Forrest. When they fought way back when, Forrest had a shoulder injury.

Mayorga vs Cotto would look good name-wise, but I do think Mayorga would be severly weight-drained even though he states he wants to fight Floyd Mayweather at 147.

Cotto should beat Gomez and I think Margarito will beat Cintron setting up Cotto vs Margarito. That would be a good one!

Mayorga Cotto could potentially be a Welterweight version of Torres Cotto.

A fight like that would truely onfirm how much Cotto has grown since abandoning 140 and how much his chin has improved.

Call me crazy but IMO this is a bad career choice for Cotto....Sure Cotto has improved and is a hell of a fighter...Mayorga is getting old and has not had a great track record against guys like Trinidad and DLH bu.

Cant you see the Countdown Jim Lampley saying

"Both Trinidad and Oscar De La Hoya stopped this guy in impressive fashion, if Miguel Cotto can do that and in even better fashion, it will cement his statement that "Miguel Cotto is here now" But if Mayorga beats him, there will be people saying "where did he go?" "
