Well of course he won't make some mistakes there two totally different boxers. Hatton is a swarmer who uses angles on the inside and also clinches to off set opponent's Rhythm, Calzaghe is an unorthodox Southpaw who uses angles on the outside and uses quick combinations to overwhelm his opponent. Hatton didn't really make any mistakes he went out there and tried to do what he does best swarm Mayweather and try and rough him up and hand out sustained beating on the inside. But it didn't work because Mayweather was better than Hatton on the inside, and was also more physical than Hatton expected and i think that shocked Hatton personally. And also Mayweather and Hopkins are two totally different boxers style wise as well.

All true ICE , but the reason Calzaghe is saying this , is to fool people that Hopkins at this stage is as bigger treat as fighting a prime Mayweather.
