I agree with the points made about Calzaghe's opponent not being the massive favourite that Mayweather was, but Hopkins is still ranked in more p4p top 10's in the world, and the fact is Hopkins was the opponent that was demanded by very many people on this forum (many saying Calzaghe wouldn't take the fight cause he's a coward), and now Hopkins being dismissed as too old and a shadow of his former self by some?

Calzaghe wouldn't get respect from some people if he had a four on one fight with Klitshko, Peter, Haye and the Big Show and knocked all of them out.

We've always known this would happen though Rhun.

Unlike the Kessler fight the divs know they can't lose with this one. It doesn't matter if Calzaghe wins because they already have Hopkins excuses firmly set in place.
