This is what I was talking about. Spinks definitely isn't the same fighter in the second half of the fight.

Where did the jabs and straight punches go? For the last round and a half, they've been gone. Phillips is giving Spinks power a lot of respect, he's looking for openings to get inside, he should just give some movement and walk him down.

They are trading well on the inside, especially in the 9th, that's what Phillips wants, and that's when he can throw without jumping in. Now in the 11th they are trading well again. Spinks looks a bit refreshed though.

Wow....what a shame. Spinks didn't look great, but there is no way he lost that fight. Hometown advantage my cack, one less excuse fighters can use for loosing thrown out the window.
