    Clearly a duck.
This proves to the world how full of shit Mayweather is.

He says he is bigger than De La Hoya and he also says he is bigger than Hatton. If this is true, then why does Cotto have to anything other than what he is doing now and that is win.

This proves that Floyd is not a big attraction.

De La Hoya could fight anyone on this forum and generate more PPV buys than PBF could fighting anyone else.
Floyd needs to admit that he will never be as great as ODLH in PPV sales.
The only reason people tune in to watch Floyd is because people can't wait to see him lose. The haters bring more to the table than Floyd's fans do.
Right now, even Floyd's die hard fans are being critical of him which shocked me The hardcore Floyd fans at boxingscene for example are asking Floyd to stop bullshiting and get back in the ring with people other than Ricky and ODLH.
I have a feeling all this talk about Cotto and the hard criticism he is getting will make Floyd cry again. Who will he snap on? Where will he be when he breaks down in tears again? I don't know but I sure don't want to miss that one.

Fraud did a chat on ESPN yesterday, and here are the Q & A's from it regarding Cotto.

Jon, Los Angeles, CA: Any chance you'll fight Cotto in 2009 before retiring?

Floyd Mayweather: At first he has to get his PPV numbers up and get a fan base.

David(TX): Do you see yourself ever fighting in mecca of boxing, Madison Square Garden vs a fighter like Miguel Cotto?

Floyd Mayweather: Who knows what the future might hold, but everyone knows that Las Vegas is the mecca of boxing.

Brandon (Arlington, VA): I will personally buy enough PPVs to make a match with Cotto equal what you sell against De La Hoya

Floyd Mayweather: I just found out who Cotto was today, because he never has called me.

Again, to prove my point, he is only going to fight ODLH & Hatton, and then retire. He will not fight Cotto!

Alex (Grand Forks,ND): What other boxer would you love to pummel into retirement?

Floyd Mayweather: De La Hoya and Hatton. They've basically both retired. What I'm going to do to De La Hoya is what Richard Prior talked about in standup comedy. I already broke De La Hoya once. Now I'll bring him back to life and break him again.

Okay, this doesn't have to with Cotto, but just proves what I have been saying about Fraud not caring about the fans, all he cares about is money. What a greedy bastard. It's nice to know that he even puts money before his own kids, or family.

Dave, Tampa, Fl: is there more to life than money?

    Floyd Mayweather: Yeah, more money.

Oops, I forgot to add this little dig by Dan Rafael in his chat yesterday.

Dan (Nutley, NJ): What if The Big Show beats Floyd? Will we see The Show vs. Cotto by the end of the year?

Dan Rafael: Probably because Big Show won't duck Cotto like Mayweather.

I don't have a problem with what Floyd's doing. The guy has been P4P for a decade. It doesn't matter who he beats, in his mind, there will always be people that don't like him. So he's gonna do what's best for him and his family and that's make the most money while he can. It won't matter if he beats Cotto because if he does people will find ways to discredit him. Every fight he's had, he's been discredited. Even when he murdered Corrales (in a fight most experts thought was a true pick em' fight), what did the fans say? Oh, Diego was going to jail, that wasn't the real Corrales, blah blah blah. When he beat ODLH, an Olympic gold medalist, elite fighter, who is a MUCH bigger than him and probably had a 12 pound advantage on Floyd on fight night, people said that ODLH was past it. Fine, whatever, but the same people don't discredit Cotto's win over Mosley, even though Mosley is clearly past his prime. People have been discrediting his wins his whole career so in his mind he thinks that a win against anybody isn't gonna count for shit anyway. So he's basically decided that if he's not gonna get any credit for any win, then he's at least gonna get a big paycheck. Cotto right now is a decent attraction but not one where Floyd could get 15 Mil + to fight so Floyd wants Cotto to become big enough to where the fight could make him some big money because beating Cotto ain't gonna win him any fans anyway.

Yeah, Floyd claimed since he beat Oscar, he gets credit for the PPV record #'s in their fight.

I just wish Mayweather would fight Witter, then his PPV ratings would plummet.

The funny thing is Floyd wasn't even a PPV attraction until he fought Gatti. Gatti was obviously the attraction. For the people that don't have a problem with what Floyd is doing, are you guys even boxing fans? You should feel cheated that Floyd isn't making the fights that true fight fans want to see.

He knows how physical Cotto is and how much bodily damage he can do to his opponent. How can Mayweather say that about the clearly number one guy in his weight class. He is feared. Like Edison Miranda and Kelly Pavlik and Manny is to those guys in that weight class. He is clearly ducking. Im so glad I started this thread. +1 for you and everyone that posted on it. Thanks.
