Its old already. If he's that fascinated with numbers he should have been a Certified Accountant and quit Impersonating a Willing Champion already.

The funny thing is Floyd wasn't even a PPV attraction until he fought Gatti. Gatti was obviously the attraction. For the people that don't have a problem with what Floyd is doing, are you guys even boxing fans? You should feel cheated that Floyd isn't making the fights that true fight fans want to see.

I don't see how anyone could feel cheated by the fights Floyd has made thus far. He has the best resume in the entire sport of boxing right now.

Last year he was the Ring's boxer of the year for his wins over De La Hoya and Hatton, which also happened to be two of the biggest boxing events in world history.

His next fight is against Oscar again, people moan but moving back up to 154 to fight Oscar IS a tough fight, harder than any fight Cotto has ever had.

NOBODY would complain if Cotto announced he was going to fight Oscar at 154, but instead he's fighting Alfonso Gomez.

Now don't get me wrong I'm not knocking Cotto but people need to put things in perspective regarding Floyd.

He WILL fight Cotto at some time, right now he wants to make his fortune off of De La Hoya. When Oscar has gone though Floyd will have no choice but to fight Cotto if Cotto keeps winning.

Floyd has always fought the best in each division. At superfeather he fought the unbeaten Diego Corrales, at lightweight Jose Luis Castillo, he fought Ricky Hatton basically at light welter. He weighed in on fight night at 145 lbs the same as Manny Pacquiao did for JM Marquez so let's not kid ourselves and say the extra weight contributed to Hattons loss.

Now at welter he's beaten the undisputed champion in Baldimor and the previous undisputed champ in Zab Judah and for good measure went up to fight Oscar at 154.

Just give him time. If Cotto is allowed a gimme fight against Alfonso Gomez then Floyd can have a 'gimme' rematch fight against Oscar.

Why do people act so final when a fight is announced as if that's going to be their last fight ever?
