Agreed, it was a close fight. I hope ODH wins because I do not want to see Hatton beat up by Mayweather again, I much prefer if it was ODH this time.![]()

Ok let me just play Devil's Adovate here.
Most of you will say that Floyd is the best p4p fighter in the world.
Most of you recognise that Oscar is stll good enough to give him a really tough fight and in fact wouldnt consider it a big upset even if Floyd lost.
So why the hell do so many people moan about him taking the fight![]()

It was a split last time! I have no problem with Mayweather taking the fight so long as it's not as boring as the first.
Array
Yeah it would be an upset. I don't see it. Floyd will learn from his mistakes and won't lose. It'll be similar to the 2nd Castillo fight. Close shave the first time, clear winner the 2nd.
Array
I think it would be an upset at this stage of DLH's career, can't see it happening though.
Array
to me yes it would be

Because as capable as De La Hoya still is, he doesn't deserve to fight Mayweather. At least the first time he had a title and it was at a weight Mayweather had never explored. Now De La Hoya has no title, he's already lost to Floyd, he's coming down to fight him at welterweight or a 150 catch weight and he hasn't beaten anyone significant in the past six, count 'em SIX years. Mayweather, Mayorga, Hopkins, Sturm, Mosley, Campas, VARGAS.
Excellent post Liquid. IU would consider it a huge upset. Oscar is old, lost their last fight and hasn't won a big fight for a long long time. And the weight will be a factor. Pointless rematch.

It would be an upset in the sense that Floyd lost his 0 not so much that Oscar beat him....
IMO Floyd will be his own downfall...If he keeps up these outside endevours, and trying to live the celeberty life it will eventually catch up with him....I don't care how much he trains, the condition he keeps himself in etc....Floyd will buy into his "I am unbeatable" act one too many times and it will bite him in the ass....Maybe not in a rematch with DLH but eventually...Unless he is smart and only takes one or two more fights then calls it a day
Hidden Content IN CASE THEY ALL FORGOT WHAT REAL HEAVYWEIGHT POWER WAS!!!

not a big upset by any means. considering most people consider ODH past his prime he was doing a good job and was winning. I thought the stamina went and it cost him the fight. I want him to win but I'm not sure he can overcome that fade he's shown in several fights.
