In order for him to be a major he'd have to be in some type of service.

I think it's a bit ridiculous for him to plan on fighting Sam Peter, and training for that fight, while running for mayor Maybe it's just a ploy to keep his name out there in the sport, and then given some time he'll have a better idea of which option is more realistic to pursue(running for Mayor again, or trying to be champ again). Either way, for him to even pretend that he intends to do both simutaneously is a joke imo.

If I'm Peter I'm pushing for a venue as far away from Kiev as possible just to dick with him. All the back and forthing he'll have to do will surely hurt him come fight night. Peter will be able to KO him in half the time.

He's running for a position that has been corrupted in the past, perhaps because he wants to better the state of his home and the lives of it's inhabitants, I can't blame him for that.
Beating Peter will prove a lot less than becoming a just and competent mayor.
