I agree with Oumafan on this one. We wouldn't see these fights anywhere else, I don't mind throwing some money down to watch these. The last Latin fury card was pretty entertaining.

I am a bit dissapointed that Mijares/Munoz isn't on a regular HBO/Showtime card but that could have as much to do with HBO/Showtime than it does Arum.
As far as the others i don't get the outrage. I would be pissed if they put that women's night of boxing on ESPN2 instead of a regular card, sorry just not into women's boxing much. I'm grateful that's PPV instead of taking up a free card. Maybe Arce's fight and Solis' fight could have been a good Telefutura card (not that I get telefutura anyway) but those are probably bigger names than a card like that would get. And Chavez Jr. obviously is going to be on PPV, that's not even worth talking about, its just the way it is.

Yeah I think the bottom line is no there is no regular free channel that would want to host those fights hence PPV.
I'll be watching them via sopcast no doubt and will enjoy some more astutue Bob Sheridan commentary
I agree with the Wiz as well all these Latin Fury cards so far have been pretty solid, with even the undercard fights providing entertainment.
I actually would like the opportunity to see some woman's boxing though. I know most are opposed but after watching Gina Carrano on Elite XC I think they can be just as entertaining as men, and if that's what they want to do with their lives then I'm all for it.
I remember watchin Gina put a smackdown on a girl called Julie Kidzie. She was much smaller than Gina but tough as nails and kept coming back.
It got by far the biggest cheer of the night and I believe it got voted fight of the night as well.
I actually had had a lot of admiration for both of them after that.
I've never had a chance to see any women's boxing but I'd definitely like to check it out, and support them totally if that's what they want to do.

I'm dissapointed, Judging by the title I thought this was gonna be one of X's threads from another board
Oh well carry on![]()

Mijares vs Munoz maybe but who the else is gonna be on the card so far I'd be paying 49.95 maybe 39.95 to so far these two.

That PPV should be about 35 dollars. I'm getting it

PPV now a days is Quantity over Quality. You just over saturate The masses and enough will shell out the loot to make your #'s.In fairness If the price is right I'm In.That 49.95 S!!! is insane.
Gone are the days of those Superb SET King Cards.......those were awesome.
