Frank tried to take it to the ground a couple times, but unfortuneatly he could not. Cung Lee has very good takedown defense and is a strong little bastard.

no, shamrock rocked him on the third round. cung le even said he saw some stars and saw his kids. that was funny. but it was the third round where the fireworks for both started. shamrock could have won if the fought on the ground. easily i dont think it would be easy. but no matter how your good your ground game is, you still have to shoot to the lower extremeties for the take down. and if all you get is kicks to the ribs, midsection, thigh everytime you want to go for a take down, that is very discouraging.
