I couldn't invite anyone from Saddo's as it would be unfair...and who knows...one day
But anyway...
1) Muhammad Ali....a great pugilist and a great man.
2) Martin Luther King....So he could be heard once again and see what he helped achieve.
3) Ray Robinson...Walker Smith Jr. Just to have another great there.
4) My Grandmother....Although If we could have her back for one day I know I'd spend all my time takling to her and neglect the rest of my guests.
5) Willie McBride....A boy soldier immortalised in an Irish ballad, killed in the rebellion. Would love to see how whe feels about his fame.
6) William Butler Yeats.....Most of his poetry was written or based on the estate about ten miles from my home. I'd love to discus his inspiration and poetry.
7) Al Capone.....Scarface would probably be ignorant, rude and quarrelsome, but just to keep it "gangsta"
8.)Al Pacino...One of my favourite actors, alongside De Niro. Fabulous sense of humour.
9) David Jason...To British it up a little.
10)Dan Rafael...I disagree with him a lot. Banter would ignite into a full blown debate I think.

O.k., I'm going to redo my list and put a little more thought into it
Lennox Lewis; my man
Joseph Stalin; already been used by a couple of people, but that guy I have read and studied much. A morbid fascination with him and his iron rule over Russia.
Idi Amin; another psycho who liked to entertain himself by feeding prisoners to his pet crocodiles, or so I've read
Bob Foster; an underappreciated, great fighter who I'd like to make a toast to.
Satan; just to chat with the Old One.
Bruce Lee{the real one}; one intense, bad mofo.
Reinhard Heydrich; a sick, twisted man who pretty much was the architect of the Holocaust. Would love to pick his brain to see why he did what he did to millions.
Morgan Freeman; one of the greatest actors of all time IMO.
Pontius Pilate; to see how he's doing after all these years
Vlad the Impaler, the original dracula![]()

Well I would rather have my regular drinking buddies and family at the table but for conversation and to be a part of the thread here's my list.
1. General George S. Patton
2. Napoleon Bonaparte

4. General George Washington
5. Franklin Delano Roosevelt
6. Ronald Reagan
7. John D. Rockefeller
8. Winston Churchill
9. General William 'Wild Bill' Donovan
10. Robert E. Lee
That would be one list if I was wanting to be serious during my dinner conversation.
I would love to have others though one with famous gangsters or entertainers or religious figures or famous athletes but honestly when it comes down to it I'd rather just like to see break bread with family members either who I never met or ones who have passed away during my lifetime, that would mean more to me and I would feel more comfortable in their company.
1. Jim Jarmusch

4. Harry S. Truman
5. Tom Waites
6. Larry Merchant
7. Ernest Hemmingway
8. Thomas Jefferson
9. Patricia Arquette
10. Steve Buscemi
I think that is a good mix. We would have fun.
