Hatton knows if he fights him and loses to a guy who lives only 50 miles up the road from him then his entire career looks like a fraud, and he knows Witter has the style to beat him and make him look one dimensional. Because Hatton is the commercial goldmine and Witter definitely isn't Ricky will avoid him like the plague because he doesn't have to fight him. I thought that maybe if Ricky lost a couple on the bounce in future he'd fight him for one last big payday but now that he can sell 55000 tickets to fight a no-name guy it's clear he's never going to fight Junior.
