Don't think I've ever seen Cruz. Seen Clottey plenty, and he's a very good fighter for the first half of his fights but his stamina just isn't up to par and he always lets his opponent back in the fight.

Easy night for Clottey.
I'm just hoping and PRAYING that there's time to at least show highlights of the Argenis Mendez fight. If they show the entire fight I'll love the Versus channel.

thats right. Joshua Clottey is the best welterweight right now. Hes never been fairly beatin, and he'd definately whip Cotto. i think its bs how he cant get a title shot

Boxingtalk already have Clottey as the most feared WW Title.
I hope he gets his chance. But you have to agree why nobody wants to fight him. He loose to Margarito(Controversial) and Margarito loose to Williams and Williams loose to Quintana.
Who would want to fight him at this moment?

I agree with the ref. It was a good stoppage. Cruz has been taking too much full-blown headshots.
Clottey-Cotto should be a good match-up.
