I have not seen the fight as I am over in the UK. So was this a premature stoppage then? Sounds like it was if he was not in trouble.

I definetly agree. but before that I prefered Cotto vs Margo but befor that I want to see Cotto vs PBF

I did think the stoppage was horrible last night.I understand he was taking punishment,but their was nothing really threatening about it.Clottey did hit him at will but Cruz recovered rather quickly from what I saw.Then to watch the second fight and have a man wobbiling all over the ring and nothing was stopped until he was defenseless.I am still not impressed with Clottey.He was beating an out of shape Margarito,a blown up Lightweight in Corrales (sorry buddy but you didn't belong that high) and Cruz a relatively unknown.I would like to see him fight Cotto,Mayweather,or Margarito/Cintron winner and I believe he would lose every fight.
