Default I know I have stated this before but why Hopkins? Why Tarver?

Tarver is gonna hurt Hopkins badly & I don't wanna see that! I would love to see Hopkins woop Tarver's azz but thats not gonna happen & the fight may end in a KO

The fight will end with a DQ, everyone knows how B-Hop fights rough and Tarver is a southpaw too...damn it's gonna be ugly, messy, sloppy, you couldn't pay me to wtach that debacle!

Your probably right but Tarver definatley has the power to stop Hopkins, plus Tarver's size advantage!

Well true...but Hopkins is VERY awkward and I think the years of ring generalship he has had will pay off for him because unlike Roy he's really had to work at winning rounds he didn't have the natural talent and speed and so his boxing IQ I would rate higher than Roy's though his ability slows him down a bit.

    B-Hop can still thump too

Watching Tarver's last fight with Roy Jones and Hopkin's title fights with Jermain Taylor I don't think you need to worry about the safety of either fighter.

Watching this fight is going to be like entering into an hypnotic coma.

I think the biggest risk will come from people falling asleep at the wheel on the way home.

May be a great fight, but I'm not spending $50, and if I wouldn't for Oscar I won't for Hopkins.

I see Tarver winning the the early rounds using his size and affective agression, with B-hop taking the later rounds. There are some similarities here to hopkins/taylor, I think Tarver-Taylor comparisons are fair. Still I think Tarver has enough in his tank to win a close UD.. Hopkins just wont work hard enough. And no way in hell would I pay for this fight..

I hope tarver dosn't win... I'd hate to see him beat yet another 'name' he can brag about forgetting the fact that the boxer can barely live up to their 'name' any more.

The prospect of Joe Calzaghe - tarver has me excited... if Tarver wins it I'd have to give him some props but he'd struggle at best.

You know I actually rate Tarver, believe it or not. Forget his attitude, the guy has great power, very good boxing skills, and he's tough for anyone to beat. He got a late start to the boxing game and you cant blame him for trying to make as much money as he can while he still can.. what is he 37 now? I'll root for him over Hopkins.
