uppercut didn't land on the chin, it backed him up but he definetly wouldn't of gone down

It was a good uppercut like I said, Mayorga also landed a couple hurtful overhand rights, but unlike in the Tito fight, he earned no Moral Victory last night. There was no badge of honor, no knockdown, no nothing, only a disheartening ass whipping at the hands of the "Golden Boy". That is what hurts, there is little if nothing to snatch from the rubble, it was just a bad loss, nothing more.

Thats right because he will roll right over Vargas hey!
He would IMO, however it would be more competitive than I thought if Mayorga came in in the kind of condition he did last night. "I weigh 170 lbs bitch", I didn't like that remark. It showed he was depending too much on his pure size, and he hadn't trained as hard as he had promised. I dunno anymore...that was a horrible and embarassing loss, I mean, he barely did any better than Gatti and Yory Boy, and thats just horrible...
    You talk so much shit.....

He trained hard as he ever did, even the commenattors and pros were saying he had

face facts he is shit, and oscar taught him a lesson.......

Oh HI HULK...there you are. Mayorga was hungry but you people just don't get it. It's OSCAR not any weak ass fighter!! For every one punch Mayorga landed, Oscar would land 10!!! ...or so it seemed. It's pretty amazing he's still fast at 33. Where are you Oscar haters now??

Mayorga is HORRIBLE when it comes to defense. What's the point in being a great puncher if you'll get hit just as hard or even harder??

Mayorga is much bigger than pbf and hits huch harder. But think about how pbf would take oscars left hook.

true but Flloyd is an amazing boxer, and would cause all kinds of problems for oscar

But then again, Oscar the other night was near perfection and would cause Flloyd all kinds of problems

And after that performance I feel oscar hits harder and has a better chin than Flloyd

Oscars defence looked near perfection but flloyds is superb also

    Ffloyd is quicker than oscar

Its just an amazing match up

I go oscar because he has way more power than he is credited for and flloyd wouldnt knock oscar out....

Welcome to the forum...have the Obligatory Wacko Welcome Wagon

Very good point. Defense is half of boxing. You can have little to no power & a great D & be a fantastic fighter...on the flipside...loads of power & no D equals...Vinny Madalone...& we all know what that equals...D- fighter.

Heh heh heh. Seriously though...welcome to the forum.

By the way about the uppercut, our commentators after it said...

"Mayorga wont like this, he landed his biggest uppercut, and ODLH walked through it and looked straight back into mayorgas eyes......"

He was pushed back and stunned for like 2 seconds, then got back on with his clinic.....

In the first round it was "where's the ring rust?"

after the uppercut it was "that shows the ring rust"

Did I see Mayorga's uppercut? No, he doesn't have one. He looks very uncoordinated when he punches. Tough guy, with no style.

it looked monster at first....I couldn't believe ODLH was still standing...as for Mayorga not going for the kill, who knows, maybe he was thinking about the first and second rounds an wasn't quite ready to throw bombs with ODLH because he might have been still recovering himself....

finally someone who saw it the same way i did...i was wondering why didn't he going in for the kill..then i said well it could be two things

1- he must be recovering himself
2- he's so wild that he doesn't know it landed..he must've thought it hit oscars glove...

Well it was a good shot and it did hurt Oscar for sure, contrary to what some folks may have you believe. But it was near the end of the round so Mayorga didn't really have time to go for the kill...he looked a little winded by then anyway...fukin 172 lbs, real smart bro.
