My Dad spent a lot of time in Aus before I was born, I think he was in New South Wales for a good while, but I'll have to check him on that.

I like old school myself.
I do find the benefits of the new systems and techniques, but to be honest I feel for learning how to box, it's great to instil that "grit" early.
