In this fight there was a chance that if it went the distance Rees would get the decision, regardless of the fight's events.
However, Woodhall, being a noted boxer and popular man in the eyes of both boxers and the public, would surely have been viewed dimly had he come out and said "Ree's is muck, Kotelink should kill him."
Perhaps there is a personal relationship between Woodhall and Rees? Is it possible that Woodhall didn't want to offend Rees.
Finally, the opinion of a former World Champion means far more than ours.

Woodhall's scoring was pretty pathetic.
I reckon sometimes (sometimes as in most of the time) these commentators score fights based on what they THINK the judges are scoring.. so in this case, Rees was the hometown Sports Network fighter, was moving forward throwing punches so surely he must be winning rounds, regardless of the fact he was getting schooled.
Even the judges had it wide for Kotelnik.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
yvonne i cannot understand why u jsut attack me and not answer the actual post, do you not have an opinion on it or is it the fact you dont like people making points and in this case a fair point that richie was well of target with his views on rees. there are many people here who have posted constructive posts. im not one to be like a child and call people names. i think you will find your bias for the british is clearly showing when you cannot even admitt when they get it wrong instead you attack those who point it out .content of character comes to mind.
