CC plain and simple,Castillo won and that was clear to see. I had it JLC by 3. I don't see how you could dislike Hatton,he's a nice guy.Originally Posted by Hulk

On one hand, you're right. On the other hand, The N'Dou fight made one thing very clear and the comentators pointed it out, it is bigger, taller men that seem to bring out the best in Floyd. I see him breaking down Margarito the same way he did to philip and corrales. I see him cutting up Hatton. The only person I really give a shot at beating him right now is DLH, and I wouldnt put money on that.Originally Posted by raleights
I just don't think he could cut Hatton or Oscar up at that weight. At 140 he was a monster, and Ricky would have real problems with his speed - literally eating leather anytime he wanted to come in & land something. It's amazing how 7 pounds is life and death with Floyd, and Hatton more than likely sees this too. He no doubt wants the fight at 147, that way he's dealing with a feather puncher.
Mayweather seems to have a good frame for putting on weight. Broad shoulders, long enough arms, good genetics, I dont think he hit a wall moving to 147. If anything Hatton needs to stay at 140, but I might change my mind on that after I see him in the Collazo fight, he did look better than expected in those training pics.
To me thats what so weird about Mayweather, even though he's not performing like he used to... his body looks just right with all the weight. Maybe he needs time to settle in at the weight? Who the fuck knows
not me
Whoever thinks Floyd lost to JLC either fight is a Floyd hater. Sure, Castillo pressured him, but that doesn't win a fight. And I got news for you, Hatton is a good fighter, but he's not as tough as Castillo, and he would lose more decisevly to Floyd. The only reason people think Floyd lost is because he didn't dominate like his other performances. How come every time Floyd doesn't destroy someone, the haters come out to talk? Point is, he still won, and he's still the best. No matter how much you hate.
I think he won the fight... alot of the shots Castillo landed were pillow shots.. Floyd landed more real shots
Floyd blocked most of Castillo's punches. The punches Floyd landed, you could see from a mile away. Castillo is one of my favorite fighters, and I hope he moves up to destroy Cotto after he destroys Corrales again, but he didn't beat Floyd either time.Originally Posted by Taeth
i haven't seen the fight but by judging from those 3 rounds, i gave Floyd rd 6 and gave Castillo rounds 7 and 12.
Floyd by 2 should have been the score, maybe only by one. Most people think that because Floyd was on the ropes, he was being punished. He wasn't. He landed alot of clean counters. Closest fight in his career doesn't equal a loss. He still landed more clean effective punches. Floyd didn't win by what the judges saw for sure. But he did win. Castillo destroys people when he gets them on the ropes, but he never hurt Floyd. If I'm not mistaken, Floyd won one of their fights with a broken hand. That should tell you who the better fighter is.Originally Posted by The_One77
I agree with you... Castillo would also give Hatton one hell of a fight IMO.Originally Posted by Unknowndonor
