Wasn't it not to long ago that Miguel Cotto said that if his uncle wasn't in his corner he wouldn't fight? Yes, before the Judah fight.

As nice of a guy and however altogether Cotto appears to be, his family is a huge wild card. Always seems to be some sort of turbulence with them and if anybody remembers Jose Cotto not even returning to his corner in that bizarre fight that Miguel promoted, they know this. So maybe I buy it, but like people have said there is always a small rift that seems to blow over and Cotto comes out each time with a perfect gameplan. I hope not Buddy McGirt.

I hope he stays with Evangelista too, its worked so far. They're probably just rumors but hypothetically if the story was completely true outside of McGirt the only Florida trainer I can think of right of hand is Dan Birmingham.
