There we go, he has more weapons with the jab and the hook off the jab is a definite asset for McGirt.

Fighters need to learn to ditch the mohawk. Last 3 fighters I've seen use it have lost and I'm not counting Malignaggi's gay-hawk.

McGirt seems to be missing something, maybe it's a defense but he's not bad technically, he's just ridged, when I first saw him he was very smooth and fluid, now he's not. Can't put my finger on it but he's lost that fluidity.

Hopefully he can come back, I like both him and Buddy.

Lopez is doing a good job staying away from Santana and Santana has had no offense but I'd like to see him set some traps, he had a good uppercut in that round that he caught Santana as he rushed in. Lopez needs a bit more offense so I look for more of that, otherwise good just need a bit more offense.

Santana needs to give himself more space on the inside, he's not a short puncher and even when he does get off on the inside he's missing behind and over the top. He needs space.

And now my stream is stopped with Santana on the ground

Certainly didn't expect Lopez to floor Santana, much less twice to the body. Wow.

He did a very good job of not smothering, don't know why Lopez didn't have a sustained attack like that earlier.

The difference between Lopez' 8th and Santana's 9th was Lopez' ability to not smother and space his shots moving forward. Lopez couldn't miss winging from the outside but each time he had Lopez on the brink of falling over, he walked into a clinch. Good action from both.

Well I missed most of round 6 but I had Lopez edging it by a point but he's lucky to have survived that one imo, just a little more space and I think he would have hit the mat.
