In an important middleweight clash, European middleweight champion Sebastian Sylvester (29-2, 14 KOs) earned a date with WBA middleweight champion Felix Sturm with an explosive twelfth round knockout of former two-division world champion and official WBA challenger Javier Castillejo (62-9, 43 KOs) on Saturday night at the Jahnsportforum in Neubrandenburg, Germany (115 miles north of Berlin). The more mobile Sylvester was cut over the right eye in round two by an unintentional headbutt, but often stood his ground to exchange punches.
