Default Any threat to the Elite of Superfeatherweights

PAC, BARRERA, MORALES. Any other boxers from this division that pose threats. Did you see Joan Guzman last Saturday, he totally blasted his opponent away. How about Zahir Raheem moving to Superfeatherweight or JMM moving up. Give names and how will they fare against the big three.

Pac is the man right now, hopefully Erik can change that!! MAB Juarez should be a good fight then an MAB PAC 2 next year hopefully! I hope JMM can get into the mix and this Chris John guy who beat JMM looks decent. Raheem would be a threat but I doubt any would want to fight him, especially at this point in their careers!

Yeah! Juarez looks promising, dunno about his chances with MAB though. Raheem just made a mistake staying in LW. He's a natural FW.

I saw Guzman last saturday for the first time and I loved his style,he uses PBF defense and hes smooth as silk, but his opponent was no match for his skills at the moment.

I have to see him against a better opponent to know if he's got what it takes to take on the elite ones.As for the elites at the moment,I got Pacquiao on top, since he beat Morales he went straight to the top again, and MAB has to beat a very tough opponent to remain at the 2nd place, but until I dont see MAB/PAC II or Morales/PAC III,Pacquiao will be the man to beat.

I'd like to see him pitted against any of these three. Also Guzman and JMM. I saw JMM you throw one punch he counters with 1-2-3. just superior hand speed.

JMM is always a threat, Guzman has all the potential in the world, and the verdict is still out on Edwin Valero. Jorge Linares is a prospect to keep an eye on. How about Barrios?

It's just I wanna see him more on the attack. I know he is one of the greatest counter punchers out there but just a little aggression. Like the first round of the PAC fight, should do it on fighters with lesser power though. I wanna see him pitted against MAB and EM, even Raheem.

I'm not sold on Guzman just yet. Valero I know has the skills,I mean did you uys see the vid of him owning Erik Morales in sparring? I just hope he does not start believeing into his own hype an foresake his boxing skills for KO'S. Barrios,I forgot about him,he was mentioned as a Pac opponent, has lots of heart but I'm not really into him. You guys see Freitas:he said BEFORE the Raheem fight that he wants Pacman although I don't see that fight coming off,Pac is too small to make 135 I think,Freitas would be too big for him.

SFW is really a hot division then. Can't wait for these new comers try to take on the elite. I have not seen that video yet(Valero owning EM). Also, Roach has expressed that he plans to take Manny to LW and take on Corralles. Maybe they believe Manny can knock him out, because of the last fight. Has a lot of heart though.

Manny has not yet faced a big puncher as Corralles, but that's what they said when he went up to face MAB. But then again MAB's no Chico. I like to see what develops.

I read it on one of the papers here in the Philippines, also I think in INQ7. For now PAC does not want to move up any higher. But seeing the division SFW limited to MAB and EM, before hanging up his gloves they wanna try out Corralles. But with the arrival of these fighters (Guzman, Valero, Juarez). He may stick with SFW until 30 yrs old.

If you...post an article and by the way,I think he would be making A BIG BIG mistake fighting Chico,he would get koed in my opinion,Chico has 2 much power for anyone to stand in front of him!

JMM and Pac should rematch. JMM could hang with MAB or Morrales. Pac knocked him down, and busted him up in the first three, but after that, JMM dominated Pac. Chris John is tough too. I'd like to see him face MAB or Morrales before I pass final judgement. As far as Raheem goes, that would be a good fight for Pac. If Raheem would have won against Frietas, then that could have been possible. But, without the belt, or the win, its too much risk and too little reward for Pac. As for Pac against Corrales, Corrales is too big, IMO.
