Both guys gave 110% and both guys seemed exhausted, and shot, in different stages of the bout. Great appetiser for the main event, and Johnson once again in a fantastic fight, and this could well be the coming of age for Dawson, taking big shots and coming through, where a knockdown could have been enough to swing it. The judges are taking their time.

UD 116-112, 116-112, 116-112. All to Dawson. That decision gets a huge round of boos from the crowd, who can't see such a big gap in it. Personally, I can't see that gap there either. Dawson not celebrating too much, and Johnson once again thinking he's been robbed. That guy has had so many rough calls.

    REMATCH!

I would think so, great fight I can't really understand the margin but I've seen worse, I had it one round off of that 7 rounds to 5 so understandable. Lots of close rounds.

Bunce is an angry man again, citing that Dawson is clearly not going to be great because he was nearly beaten by a 60 fight veteran who was nearly 40.

I seem to remember Rocky Marciano going life and death with a 40 year old veteran to come from behind and win his title as well though so I'll say again Buncy doesn't know what he's talking about.

Dawson is young and is in a division with three of the toughest most battle hardened old men in all of boxing.

He's only going to get better in my opinion and can still go on to to be the future of the division.
