Should cintron get respected for fighting margarito again...

I give THE FROG big respect for trying to reverse his only loss , but styles make fights and a rock chinned threshing machine is the last thing a frigile puncher needs.
In todays multi title sport THE FROG can win another championship , just wont ever beat Margarito.

I really don't think Cintron is done though. He still has the heaviest hands in the welter's and Margarito just has rocks in his jaw. Most people would fall if not be K.O.'ed with clean right hand shots like that in the first couple of rounds.

I basically agree with all the posts here, except the paycheck one.

I respect Cintron's willingness to go back in against Margarito. He gave it his all, but Margarito's just got his number. And yeah, he was starting to look like a beaten fighter when his bombs failed to stop, or even stun Tony. The punch that KO'd him was a devastating body shot... no shame in that. Is he done? Probably not. He can still beat a lot of the top WW's out there. Just not Margarito.

i don't really like cintron but i have to respect him. he took that fight knowing he was most likely going to lose but tried to get a victory.

Mad respect for him, I said this elsewhere I think Cintron can bounce back from this. Margaritos style is just bad for him.

I said that Cintron fought Margarito because if he won, it would give him a big-money fight against Cotto. Exactly what is inaccurate about that?

It's the same reason Margarito was in the ring last weekend.... because he knew if he won he'd get a big fight against Cotto.
