I have been a Marg fan for years and years. Always loved his style. He is pure and mean. I always thought with his give and take style that his career would be short one, and man I am so happy he has proved me wrong. He punches non stop at angles that will penetrate any defense.

I have been on the Cotto bandwagon since the Corley fight and have followed him ever since.

I think Cotto is the only welterweight who could beat Marg right now. I think Marg would steamroll the rest with his now fast starts and relentlessness. Antonio is just so strong.

Cotto just keeps getting better and better. Not only is he the best body puncher in the game, but his timing, speed, defense and power seem to be getting better with each fight. I think he has the best timing of any fighter alive right now.

Both of them will take something from each other when they meet in the ring. If Cotto can avoid Marg's uppercuts, which is difficult as Marg throws them from anywhere, he will won. If he cannot avoid them, Marg will win.

I don't know how you can think Cotto has a better chance than Mayweather against Margarito. MArgarito is horrible against people with any sort of movement, and Mayweather moves better than any other pro out there. Mayweather is more than strong enough to handle Margarito's punishment, Oscar is a much bigger puncher than Margarito and Mayweather had no problem with his power, also Mayweather's movement has a tendency to leave opponents really wide open for counters which Mayweather will have no problem landing all night against Margarito.

People are overrating him way too much. Since when did doing the same thing twice against an unproven fighter gain you so much respect? Tony is a brawler who has limited skills and speed, and would get worked by Floyd Mayweather. Also the more I think about the more I believe Cotto would also beat him badly, I think Cotto like against Gomez would consistently get off first and Margarito wouldn't be able to get off because Cotto's punches would keep him off balance.

A limited brawler who defended his world title successfully 9 times. Lost it and then regained it. That makes him a World Title Belt Holder at welterweight 2 times over. Yeah he is a pushover for sure.

You don't even need to bring up Floyd's name. He has no intention on fighting these guys. Right now as much as people do not want to hear it, he is out of the mix.

My first ever negative rep goes to Taeth. I gave you some good rep in one of the other threads for being such a big Mayweather fan but now your obsession with him is almost scary. I didn't mention anything about Mayweather yet you manage to change the thread,EVERY thread you post in,to be something about Floyd. Are you his PA?Is boxing to you just about Floyd Mayweather? Agree with most of the posts on this thread love margerito love the way he fights and if he fights Williams again he will beat him. As for him and Cotto i thinks it will be a 50/50 fight and i would applaud either one
