He'd usually be quite macho and proud of his ability to take them down forgetting that he's assisted by a gun which pretty much eliminates any need for him to demonstrate any equivalent strength to win.

Suddenly he has to go to his guy friends and make up stories about how he got beat up so bad. It probably went from being a deer to 6 wild men, on drugs, with baseball bats who attacked him from behind when he didn't have his glasses on and was half asleep in the middle of the night etc etc
