Great videos Legion. Didn't take the snakes long at all to come out when you put the mouse in there. (The youtube videos played for me). Just wish we could have seen them get eaten.

For some reason the camera would only record for 30 seconds and then stop. The big albino female had a war with the rat; but the videocut off. It got real ugly, and actually glad it cut off. My girlfriend started yelling at me how cruel I was![]()
that was freaking exciting while it lasted, im starting to a actually believe i can take care of snakes. my arowana, snake like fishes, and piranha eater eats mice too. I don't think I'd feed a beautiful snake a live mice or rat cause of the chance of the snake being injured. Unlike with aquarium predators, the rats have no chances of fighting back. They'd get drowned then eaten up.
Yeah, I don't like feeding live for 3 reasons.
1. I don't like watching it just to watch something die.
2. live prey can carry parasites and that should be avoided at all costs.
3. the prey can fight back. The one with my albino fought today, you just didn't see it. Luckily he didn't bite her, as he had the oppurtunity. She was bulldogging him something awful. Obviously the cape cobra didn't need to fight his, as you saw how potent and fast acting the venom worked.
