The fucken networks, promoters and the WBO are pining Carlos against the wall. That's fucked up....
They're putting him in a situation he doesn't have to be. This smells really bad, like a set up to try and redeem the loss and have Williams possibly face the winner of Tony-Cotto.

Now Carlos has to decide whether he wants to go with the fight OR fuck it! drop the fucken belt. He should know the people/fans understand why he wont take the fight. They wanna cheat his ass out of money that he deserves and that's fucked up. Carlos is in quite a predicament here.... He needs to think this through.

This is unbelievable!! I can see promoters trying to earn all money without throwing a punch and... I wonder how much was Williams offered to fight his "Punisher".

Well have some rep for keeping us up to date on this Macho, don't think this has been covered anywhere else. Very interesting, Dan Goosen has always struck me as a fair man, I've been able to talk to him fairly and as a former trainer he has always been for fighters getting a fairer cut and trainers too. Trainers cuts pale in relation to the manager's keep. So in that respect I wouldn't expect him to seemingly jerk a fighter around like this but he's in a suit now where his job isn't to look after the fighter but his pockets so I guess this is possible. Hope Quintana gets what he wants without forcing this off TV.

This fight needs to be talked about more imo, the first fight wasn't a blowout and had very good action.

A while back I tipped Quintana over Cotto because of Cotto's lack of polish and because Quintana can box beautifully. Cotto stepped his game up and improve mightily and that is a testament to Quintana. He's very good and will be around for a while. I think he might be the best of that second tier, everyone not named Cotto or Mayweather.
