During the morning I'd start with a good wholesome cereal. Weetabix or something similar. Have a banna and some fruit.
At 11 0r 12 some scrambled eggs are a great source of energy.
Some pasta as the main meal. Some lean beef mince may be helpful.
And one or two hours before I'd eat some bananas, some jelly etc.

I've heard a lot of people suggest pasta quite a few hours before sports as it provides a lot of good energy, without any type of sugar high... Anything with some good complex carbs will be decent..
Hatton has a big english breakfast was fried sausages and bacon and eggs, so I suppose having something you enjoy and keeps you relaxed and zoned in might be okay if you think you're going to be very nervous all day...
I would probably struggle to eat anything the night of a fight, but I would force something good in there so I don't run out of Energy.
Drinking a lot of water throughout the day will be a BIG help as well... When I was training very hard and eating well, one thing that really helped my training at one stage was staying very hydrated throughout the day.. I got a lot less tired, and my muscles had less fatigue.. Don't drink to much before the fight though or you'll have to pee or feel bloated.
Good point Diz, hydration is as importanbt as nutrition.
I find loading up on real energy the day before is great, supplementing this with carbs on the day results in the "voom." youu're looking for oin fight day.

Donny has pretty much summed it up to be honest, as fight time approaches bananas are a must but another thing I like to eat is jaffa cakes, they are brilliant as a source an energy booster.
Nothings Sweeter Than Sugar
I saw a documentary on Tyson once and 7 hours before his fight with Clifford Etienne he ate a huge friggin' buffet, no joke.
PAC eats tinolang manok with rice and milk with banana. tinolang manok is boiled chicken with ginger young papaya and chili leaves.
I saw in a fight once, Tyson had a midfight cartilage snack, I'm guessing was prob high in some kinda energy or protein or sumthin. no joke.
Far as diets go for fight day personally, I eat healthy so my trainer says eat normally for breakfast and lunch, but as suggested in other posts here to have a pasta supper and then a banana between supper and fight, and mainly just water for fluids after lunch.
nothing that will back up on ya or give you the running shits if you lactose intolerant stay away from anything with milk know your body.
. cream of mushroom soup condensed str8 out of the can mixed with rice with oven broiled chicken on top is very good and satisfying .
some veggies , multi vita. a little pasta is good . nothing spicy or too zesty.. Horrible to find yourself dumping on a body shot because of poor food choice..
Thanks for all the advice; In the end i eat :
9am Porridge and vitamins etc
1 - some pasta and chicken
snacked on some cashew nuts a bit till
5:30 ish - had some more pasta and chicken
7-8ish some museli bars and slightly sugary things
Then i think I fought about 9:30,
Energy levels were good , fought to a draw but I am quite happy with that anyway.

In the future...If weight is not a problem and it is the day of the fight eat whatever the hell you want..I am serious it really does not matter....Just stay away from any type of high sugar foods, caffeine, any type of energy drinks etc that give short burst of energy....Try not to eat 3 hours befor the fight so you are fully digested. and don't drink too too much fluids.....My superheavyweight Trevor Bryan eats chicken sandwhiches and fillet-o-fishes thew days of his fight like a ritual....and right now he is sitting as an alternate on the USA Olympic team

I don't know if I mentioned this earlier but it's not what you eat on the day really, it's waht you eat the day before.
