Margarito has done nothing but make Improvments and Clottey Is just going through the motions as of late.Clottey will be asked to step aside By Arum For Cotto Fight,Hand or know hand,Margarito was stepping up the rolling momentum and Had Clottey.Far too much was made of the Hand Injury Imo and The fact Tony was victorious is relegated to a side bar.
Well to be fair Clottey did have a great 4th round where he stunned Margarito with a right hand as Margarito was coming in. Then Clottey just stopped throwing punches in the 5th round and went more into retreat, the hand injury did change the momentum of the fight somewhat, but like i said i will be fair to Margarito because he also had complications before the fight.

Clottey was doing well Indeed,But I think Tony's body work as well as his hard headhad alot to do with Clotteys slow down.He said he had injured It 2 weeks prior in training as well.I hear what your saying but I just get so tired of "I hurt my hand(s)" Mantra.I remember a head butt in the 4th as well and then in the 5th Tony had his frenzied onslaught with about 160 punches thrown..I counted 170.Personally I would like a rematch.I had Margarito up by three points.

too much of a risk for Margarito, hes done enough to prove he can earn his rematch with Williams, fight Cotto or Floyd IMO. It will be a tough fight for him against Clottey and I dont see the point in him going down that route.
Well Clottey was a voluntary title defence, and it was the a rusty Marg v a top form Clottey. Marg outworks him earlier in a rematch and as he will will be able to get power into his shots(he couldn't in first fight due to injuries),he'll beat Clottey 116-112 on all cards.
