What would have happened if Smith Vs. Mesi had come off on the 4th?
And the question still lingers....who is the next serious American Heavy weight title threat?

Oh Jeezus..Jones calling out A MMA fighter...And I thought Tito fight was a circus. The color was bad in that arena.Jones shirt made him look purple and Smoger had the red wig thing going.
I may be wrong,But I dont see Johnson doing much with that Lackadaisical temperment.

Man Brian Kenny gets on my nerves. Kisses so much a## and that goofy, chia-pet haircut he's sporting. Sometimes I wish he'd stfu![]()

I like Kenny cause he always pisses PBF off and puts his ass in his place.

I like Kenny, if it weren't for Kenny there would be NO mentions of boxing on Sportscenter, bottom line anywhere, he has really been a lead boxing guy and these days those make you thankful.
Anyways, Johnson can get away with that crap he does and you see he has talent but in no way is he putting that talent to great use. He's like an old James Toney, who does exactly what he wants to do in a round but still leaves it close in the mind of the judges.
There are judges out there who would have scored that fight to Terry Smith. There was a 96-94 scorecard right?
Johnson just does barely anything at all. To be honest about it, he's a spot fighter, he fights in spots and to be honest he was picking Smith off pretty well. Accurate punches with speed and he places them nicely. But as a spot fighter, you have to either have power to make your spots stick in the mind of judges or better yet end the fight, or you need to be sure to have lots of spots and place them right. Johnson did a pretty good job at coming back at the end of rounds from doing nothing but he still just gave away rounds off pure inactivity. I hate to see that in a heavyweight, especially one who has as good of handspeed and defense as Johnson appears to have.
So now let's look at the American heavyweight prospects and try to rank them. I'll go ahead and include Chambers. So out of all the American heavyweight prospects, where do they all rank amongst themselves?
Chazz Witherspoon
Jason Estrada
Travis Walker
Malik Scott
Kevin Johnson
Chris Arreola
If I'm missing any let me know but that's the crop as far as I know it. Very average bunch

Chris Byrd lost a lot of weight.
Turned it off after four, yawn. Checked in a few times when I couldn't find any good commercials.
Johnson needs to lose some fatty, he needs to be on his toes and off television.
