I don't feel a win from Forbes, but it would definitely be a shock if he did win!
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
Well my feeling with these fights like this, it always feels weird when absolutely no one talks about the challenger. Then it makes you think that the fighter isn't really thinking about the challenger. The challenger takes advantage of the champ overlooking him, has the fight of his life and pulls off a huge upset.
The problem here is that, Oscar De La Hoya knows what is at stake here. He isn't going to slip up like that.
And if he did, that ring I guarantee you will be 16 feet, it'll be about as big as a liter box so no chance for Stevie to outmove him and try to Cory Spinks a win away from De La Hoya.
Just to many odds stacked up against him here.
Don't see Forbes giving ODLH trouble in most areas. If he tries to outwork him he'll just get hit with power shots. Forbes doesn't bring what Sturm did.
“If you even dream of beating me you'd better wake up and apologize.” Muhammad Ali.
Think about it for a second. Is Forbes gonna get a stoppage, obviously not.
Does anybody really think he has a chance in hell to get a decision if the fight's even remotely close? From Oscar de la Hoya?On the eve of a second Mayweather fight with bank vaults full of money at stake?
Forbes would have to nearly dominate Oscar for 12 rounds to win. I mean a 9-3 type of decision at the very least. The chances of that happening are pretty much slim and none.
I'm so sure of this I'd put like 4 dollars on ODLH. Sorry I'm kind of broke for the next few weeks.
