Mayorga was out of his league and like I said before he did not get in Oscar's head but under his skin, and paid for it. I also think Oscar could beat PBF he is better and stronger, he is slower now though as he got a little older I wish Oscar would just retire now. 4 years ago Oscar would have blown PBF away in the 7th.

I think he's only about 33. Plus he's hardly fought in the last 4 years or so, I'd say he has plenty left in the tank. He's probably good for another 2 or 3 fights if he wanted.

I agree with that, I just don't think he'll look as good against better fighters. Mayorga was hand picked by Oscar to make him look good, specifically for what is happening. Oscar is back! Oscar is a smart business man, and just made himself another unreal millions by looking good against someone who is made for him, and selected by him.

Total agreement. I like Oscar, but if you were him, and wanted to hype himself for one last huge payday, and raise your odds, wouldn't you pick a tough guy with limited skills, so that you would look that much better? I would. Smart move. Look at his last five fights against people who could actually box, Oscar didn't look that good, so why now is he all of a sudden Oscar from 98?
