I picked Bell, its hard to predict anything about him with complete confidence cause he's such a flake but I just didn't think Adamek was a real cruiser, 175 to 200 is a big leap.
Adamek rocked and dropped Bell in round.
When Bell got up he was a bit shaken up.

In the 2nd round, Adamek stepped back and did not go after Bell to see if he was still hurt. For the most part Adamek was beating Bell to the punch and was outboxing him. Adamek would jab and punch and step back. Adamek lands some solid right hands and stuns Bell. I think Bell lands one good shot in the fight.

I'm not sure what happened to be honest, because like I said in a previous post he had tooken some bigger shots vs. JMM and Brown.

By the way thanks for making the thread I almost forgot this one myself. Then I noticed it on threads I was subscribed to.

    Default Great win by Adamek.

Tomasz Adamek tko'd Bell in 8 rounds. That is a great effort by the polish fighter. Adamek is durable as fuck and a decent fighter, he might have been the guy to give Haye a good run for his money.

Pity he won the fight on the same weekend as Hop v Cal cos he deserves heaps of credit. Hope this hasnt already been posted.

    Thoughts?

I haven't seen the fight, I've only read about it, but it sounds like it was an impressive victory. He made a former champ quit on his stool, that's no small feat.

It is a great effort. Bell is no pussy either.

The only Adamek fight I have seen is when he fought Briggs. That was a great fight.

Yeah i think there was 2 in all. Good fights too. Both MD to Adamek for the WBC belt over 12.

Damn! eagle we missed you out here for the rd. by rd. chat.....

I merged your topic with this.... There was quite a few of us here for the fight. He looked good and set a pace for himself, he dropped Bell early in round 1, which oddly enough Hopkins dropped Joe in the 1st round also.
That's 2 knockdowns that I think no one would have predicted.

It really is a good win for Adamek and I hope he get's a title shot vs. Cunningham as I think that has all the makings of a damn! entertaining fight. Both guys like to trade and they both want to establish themselves in the Div.

I had a look for a thread on the fight but must have missed it. Look silly now. I was shocked when Adamek made him quit. Tomasz is a good fighter, i think he has improved since the fights he closely won with Briggs.

Bizarre and very disapointing fight. It wasn't a WAR or nothin. Bell quit which was weird...
He was losing but he's got that one hit KO power.

I think he's bout finished at the World Class level. Haye would eat his lunch.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
