Well if you have Firefox and there are specific sites they go on that have these images, most of the time they are hosted by a singular site and if you right click and choose block images from whatever site it is then you can go about it that way. Other then that, I don't know.

I think it'll be pretty hard to do... Some programs are pretty advanced and can pick up keywords in porn sites etc and are able to block 99% of adult content in some way...

But some very ordinary sites have some pretty raunchy advertising these days, and I think it would be very hard for the programs to pick that up...

It's a messy world that our kids are growing up into these days...

I think i'll pull my hair out when my daughter gets to the ages of 14 or 15, and her favourite websites are facebook etc etc.. I know what girls get up to on there!!

Bro, do you have Kaspersky as antivirus? You can prevent incoming sites from popping by activating its pro-active defense. You can also temporary block your internet connection through kaspersky.

Just ask me how to do it when you have your kaspersky already.

It's not pop up I want to block Bruce bro,it's images like naked women in ads at the top of sites or dirt vids being played at the side, and it's on torrent sites and lots of other sites too. Also, is there a way I can permanently block dirty sites? Sometimes,if you click on a link,it takes you somewhere you didn't think you would be going!!

So,anyhting which blocks images and anything which blocks sites. Please help,it's important!

Gamo type 'bluecoat K9' into google and download and install that.

It's a completely free net nanny that allows you not only to specify what sites to block and allow but also allows you to set time limits for internet access.

It won't work on 64 bit operating systems but almost certainly you will have either 32 bit Windows XP or Vista anyway so it will be fine.

    You're welcome.
