That 5 million for fighting Judah didn't include revenue generated from PPV, and the fact is that alot of people bought that fight... About 10 times as many as would pay to see Floyd beat Margarito. PLus Floyd gained alot more recognition in beating Zab because people know who he was... Remember it doesn't matter to a boxer how much the fans know about boxing, "casual" fans pay the same amount to watch the fight as we do, and what difference does that make to Floyd. Im just saying that I guarentee Floyd made alot more money fighting Zab then he would Margarito. That's the reason Arum is trying to go out on a limb and offer Floyd such a high purse, because it probably won't sell many PPVS. And Arum knows that, in fact I would be surprised if he didn't lose money, should the fight happen. Margarito does not bring 8 million dollar purses just yet.
