I've had tonsilitis on a number of occasions.

Vomiting is not an ordinary syptom.
Fluey symptoms are common.

Only one that can tell for sure is a doctor of course, but a tell tale sign is the presence of "white spots" on the throat.

It must be some sort of fever then. My throat is not sore, but the muscles in my neck are all swollen and stiff. Rep for the advice tho.

May be. I know every time I lay down, it seems to get worse. But if I sit up a bit, I actually seem to feel a little better...

No. No injuries anywhere. Just this stiffness in my neck is all. I'm startin' to feel better now, although my appetite still hasn't returned to normal and I'm still a bit on the weak side.
