Lehlo Ledwaba and Chachai Sasakul, are just some of the champions you so conveniently omitted. They were much better fighters than the fighters in Floyd's resume like Hernandez, Manfredy and Ndou. Ledwaba was ranked no. 12 in the p4p rankings, and Sasakul was THE man at his weight. Was Angel Manfredy THE man at his weight? HELL NO!
JLC got beat by Floyd? NO. DLH got beaten by Floyd? Maybe (IMO dlh won), but this version of DLH was one who got schooled by Felix Sturm, so there should be no glory in that win, if you'd call that a win. And Hatton is not a beast in 147, so there should be no glory in that either.
MAB was past his prime in 2003? OK, you fail again. Floyd beats Pac in a p4p match? Floyd got his ass handed to him by JLC who is nowhere in the league of a Manny Pacquiao! So you fail yet again.
Admit it, Manny Pacquiao is so much better than Floyd in the p4p sense. And he beat the BEST ones available when moving up. Floyd always chose the weakest ones.
Re Cal vs. Floyd, do you really think Floyd would win against Nard in a p4p match-up with a biased referee helping Nard? Nard would keep on holding, and everytime Floyd throws his elbows the ref would penalize him for it. NO, Floyd won't beat Nard like JoeCal did.

Floyd Number One..
Manny Two..
Joe's etched out decision that i dont agree with doesnt rank him higher then either.. And i can think of a couple fighters i consider better p4p then joe aswell.. so.. Thats a pretty firm no.
Immortal Technique
I would have to say no. Pac Man has fought the best in his class many of times and many rematches. Calzaghe was never in the same ring as Roy Jones Jr in the 1990's nor was he in the ring with Toney. He was never in the ring with a younger Hopkins. Joe is good . But he needs to take on more challenging fights. He needs Taylor or Pavlik to help engrave a legacy. Kessler is good but he is a poor man version of what the Ghost brings to the table. Taylor's speed will be the best he has ever faced. Pavlik's power ,chin , conditioning and drive and will to win will be the best he ever faces. I believe Pac Man has fought those kind of guys and beat them.
I will also say the Pac has better wins than Mayweather Jr. He has fought every one. Mayweather needs Cotto. Thats what the people want. I did not see Cotto tearing apart a middle weight - welter weight like Gomez. He beat him with ease. It looked like a 5 round sparring season from Apollo Creed in Rocky2. He is a animal and I think Mayweather is avoiding him. Can you blame him?
Manny never had the p4p title, and Joe hasn't moved past manny. All this talk about who Floyd fought versus who Manny fought- it's close, but Manny has losses, so who's number one, you already know, get over it. And p4p, Manny can't beat Floyd.
People were making a big deal out of Gomez being the bigger guy before the fight as well. Did nobody see him fight Jesse Feliciano on ESPN last year and get rocked frequently? Gomez just sucks, at any weight. Cotto did look great against him, but what top WW wouldn't?
Yes, i was already impressed with Cotto, but the win against Gomez didn't do anything for me.
I've said it before and i'm sticking to it. Respect to Joe but he has left it too late in his career to ever be considered P4P number 1 in my opinion. He would need too many more fights against big names to get there and his shelf life isn't going to allow for that.
JLAQ, don't make me laugh comparing Calzaghe's resume to that of Manny Pacquaio, Mayweather and even a whole host of others. These guys have been fighting live world champions at the peaks of their career's where as Joe only started to do that age 33-34. He's doing well at this advanced age but it's too late for me to consider him even in the top 3.
