Arum have an audience for this Thursday with Athletic Commission of Nevada for talk the possibility to permit Cotto and Margarito to use the 8 once Gloves in place of 10 once in which determinate the mandatory rules for all boxers over 136 pnd......

This Thursday Arum will present some testimony from a few Doctors that had say that theres not enough evidence for keep the rule that require the use of 10 once of Gloves....." Theres no way to prove that a pair of Gloves of 10 onces are more secure "........commented the Cottos spokesman..........

I think 8 oz is fine underneath middleweight. I mean Heavyweights used to use 8 oz gloves, and before that even smaller ones when Ali used to fight, and one can only imagine how big the gloves that Robinson, Louis, and all those guys used... they pretty much looked like 4oz gloves.
