Good post, I agree but there has never been a time where EVERYONE got along at Saddo's.

This place has ebbs and flows of ball busting and sometimes it gets out of hand and sometimes people have to get flushed or put on suspension because of it.

We don't want everyone to be so accepting that it gets bland in here.....we have to rile people up every now and then.

The worst times on this forum are right before and right after these fighters fight: Mayweather Jr., Hatton, Calzaghe, Wlad, and it used to be Kessler and Sam Peter

Don't think we would have much of a problem if people just learned to accept my opinion and let that be the end of it.

I think it's funny when people get so pissed off disagreeing they end up resorting to name calling.

    This is what I see...

You're not abrasive enough for anyone to really have that much of an issue with you. You can try to be mean but it won't work

We had a member here a while back, I wish I still had the PMs because I forget his name. It was before that board crash we had. Anyways, he made a few threads on his first day, didn't seem like that bad of a guy, made a "I'm new here" thread and then a couple others. Anyways, I gave him the customary CC or whatever then went on to reply to his threads. One of them was about Cotto and this was 140 Cotto and he didn't realize it but I was agreeing with him. Then in a couple other threads I didn't.

I logged on the next time and I had like 10 PMs with this guy literally exploding over himself cussing me out thinking I was mocking him, accusing me of stalking, ignoring the whole bit. It was pretty funny as I've never had that happen to me on a message board where a guy was genuinely upset.

I try not to be abrasive just because...well I typically don't get into that. But that was great because of funny those PMs were. I always wonder what those people are like in real life when they get that mad. If they are screaming at their keyboard or getting all red. Or even funnier if they are just completely straight faced spewing these hateful things.

Well I've had a number of posters flushed because they couldn't handle arguing with me....and realize that I am not and have never have been a Mod at any point in time.

Jax - he more or less quit
raleights - as best I recall we fought...but I could be mistaken
    landmine950
Wasp - the most recent casualty

I don't know if there are any others

Then there are guys that stay and eventually we develop a good solid friendly rivalry

After the Marquez/Pac rematch and To a lesser degree Hopkins/Calzaghe ...It was just foul.It was for the most part just new flamers coming in and tossing Maltovs Everywhere.Once you start with the Pussies, coward, and overrated baby killer talk etc.etc. your credibility is nixed..... It is really pointless to even attempt a conversation. This is no tea party, there will be headbutts but respect at the end of the day should remain intact.

From now on we shall all agree on everything. Because we are all in agreement on everything then we wont even have to come to saddos anymore because we already know that we all agree. Then we can sit around twiddling our thumbs all day humming "la dee daaa"

If everyone accepted what everyone else had to say then this site would be boring as fuck!

Half the reason of having a forum is the clash of opinions. It makes it fun and exciting. It is also worthwhile when people disrespect someone else's opinion, it is all part of the natural cycle of the forum.

Sometimes arguments turn into very entertaining free-for-all fuckfests and someone will eventually make a fool of themselves by threatening to kick someones ass (ala leftylee) and hilarity ensues
