    Thats scary as hell!

    Spicoli;
    From the looks of it, the ref did do a crap job.
    The fighter was prone apart from involuntary twitching and the ref still counted

    I hope that is not how history will remember Simon Brown, he was a seriously good fighter ...... and one of the most avoided welterweights around. I recall Honeyghan, Starling and Breland wanting no part of him at the time?

    He got knocked out cold because he violently slam the back of his head on the canvas. It wasn't just from a punch. Kinda like Jones-Tarver...

    That video pretty conclusively demonstrates Scrap's theory of muscle memory?

    I will always hold Simon Brown and Bert Cooper dearly to my heart.

    Back after the 84 Olympics. Canada was touting their two Silver Medalists Willie Dewitt(heavyweight) and Shawn O'Sullivan(Welter). Both guys had a style, especially Shawn, that would never translate well to being a successful pro fighter. They were feeding them low grade competition left and right and it seemed all of Canada thought they were unbeatable, except for me.

    I waited patiently for them to foolishly step up both guys competition. They did and boy was it great. Simon demolished Shawn and Bert Demolished Willie.

    Ahh the good ole days!!hehe

    X,
    I completely agree with you 100% on this post.

    One of my fav. Simon fights is when he TKO's 'Terrible' Norris one helluva fight where the winner changed about 3 times per round.
