Toney is his own worst enemy.........Also White Castle burgers No question that he was a lightning rod that could stir it up with rowdy nature. Can not see him being a factor though.WHEN he was in peak form.....He was one of the best all around fighters there ever was.

Estrada & Eddie chambers just do not do it for me ....

What if James Toney that beat Holyfield fought like that in each and every subsequent heavyweight fight? What would he have achieved by now?

    OK.......you're crazy

I am just sad he never got to fight Wladimir, all those Toney fans were so confident that he would beat Wlad...not only did I want to see James Toney's defeat crush his fans but I wanted to hear Larry Merchant say those marvelous words again "That whale was just harpooned"

A Toney-Tyson fight would have been good had Tyson not lost to Williams or McBride

If it was the Toney that beat Holyfield, I am shamed to say he would have beaten Tyson, if it was the Toney that fought Rahman and Peter..... he still would have beaten Tyson.

Toney's biggest mistake was that he spent too many years draining himself at 168/175, then he spent the end of his career as a fat overweight heavyweight.

If he had just stayed in the 180s/190s for most of his career, he could have been an all-time great cruiserweight.

I'm a big Toney fan but he needs to hang it up. He's toast.
