The more I think about Cotto-Margarito the more I see a mismatch

#1 It was a cut and it was in a bad place too.

#2 I don't see Cotto winning because I am a fan of his, I see Cotto winning because of his skills and Margarito giving up his natural physical advantages. I see Cotto being smart and good enough to take advantage of that.

I can respect and maybe even concede your opinion, to tell you the truth I do see Cotto a winner here, but I hate how eveyone seems to think he's just gonna walk all over Marg. like he was Gomez or something. I'm getting too nationalistic I think. Again your reasons are justified on the fight, but still doesnt explain why you're a dick

Agree with the frustration about Margarito being Overlooked by people,then again what is new through his career ?I'm Picking Margarito to pull it off.

That was his reply to something I said about MArgo. never seeing MArgo cut. Granted, he got cut he was right. But there was no reason for that response...just being a dick. but he knows his boxing i will give him that i respect the opinions

Sorry if I was a little lacking in the finesse with my opinion on Margarito getting cut. You're going to have to get used to me being frank with you because I don't want (and other forum members don't want) me to ramble on and on just to get to a point where I could tell you what I thought.


As for Margarito being cut, he lost a fight to Daniel Santos because he was cut, granted that was a headbutt HOWEVER fighters who get cut once usually end up getting cut again and it could be by a headbutt or a punch or whatever. As you could see in his last fight he got cut too. It's nothing that has bothered him but he does get cut up every now and then
